Here are some test renders while I was texturing my Slime Mold.

I feel this texture is similar to the ones I created for my Animatic, and still captures attention.

Spore Render Tests

After experiencing  problem with my leaf textures, I resolved the problem by removing the black outline on the leaves from the texture and just adding the outline with the Toon Shader.

Thought Process:
At first I thought about changing level (2) and its background colour, here are those results:

However they did not turn out how I had planned. So I went back and used my concept art as reference towards colour and layout.

The Fantastic Voyage: 2D Toon Shader

Toon Shader

As suggested by Phil, I feel that my plants to need a 2D effect on them that will make them similar to the rest if my scenes. I found a great tutorial on how to achieve tho effect.

Had to rebuilt Level (3) after Maya crashed and removed/corrupted the scene.
