Morphing Faces

This was a really fun and enjoyable lesson and when looking at other artists' examples enabled us to really understand the potential of this technique.
During today's Animation & Character session, we were given the task to draw a class mates portrait going around the room clockwise. Afterwards, we were told to swap the pieces of paper with the person we had drawn to trace over it. So we had to draw the stages in between each drawing to ''Morph'' one face to the next. The challenge was to get this done within only nine frames and making it as fluid as possible. This would create a continuous loop going around the table once edited in Dragon.
This was a really fun and enjoyable lesson and when looking at other artists' examples enabled us to really understand the potential of this technique.
