@Phil ND: 5/7 Images
ND: 5/7 Images
I have these images that I feel might work for me in ND. I have also listed below what I plan to do for the other images. I was going with the idea of having images that show my progress but also other ideas I had.
@Phil What about colour? Feels like I should either leave them black and white or have something similar to the colours in the Beast design poster? Should I improve on the colours of the Beast? Or should I have a colour theme running through all the images?

@Alan/Phil Post Hand-In: Silver's Design and Head Model Improvements
Silver's Design and Head Model Improvements
After taking a step back from my project and now knowing I have more time to focus on my characters, I really wanted to improve on them. My major concern with my project was the character Silver. Her overall design wasn't right for the world she belongs to in comparison to the other characters.

As I wanted to increase the realism in Silver's model to match the other characters, I found a great set of videos showing a process of modelling characters for animation. So along side the tutorials by Alan, I have started to remodel Silvers head (for fun, too) with having higher realism in mind.
I have thought of a more creative way to express the use of these silver hands and how I can use them to my benefit, rather than a hindrance in terms of animation. So I thought about her having normal hands, but when she enters "battle mode" she activates larger hands that are magically free floating and controlled by vines on her arms. I am working on those designs now.
I also thought about removing her cap, as it was too modern, so I thought about adding a pony tail, or something up top so that it can add to her animation when the time comes. I know I may have set out more work for myself, but I want the end product I see in my head to be reality.

Minor Project: The Beast Orthographic
The Beast Orthographic
I must say this guy has been a big heart ache but this afternoon I have finally (I think) solved him in front perspective. @Alan I feel like hes a bit too much up top, is there anything wrong with his proportions etc? I am aiming to model him (and the Bear Prince) at 45 degree angles, would this be the right choice?

@Phil Minor Project: The Bear Prince - Initial Colours
The Bear Prince
Initial Colours
I am unsure how to progress with the colours of the bear if these are not working. He's a bear after all and wouldn't be wearing(I assume) bright colours. Also he is not like the villain who is oozing corrupted magic, so he's kind of 'plain Jane' when it comes to this. What's your opinion?
My favorite is the Gold/Brass (1) or (G). (1) might be too villainous?

Minor Project: Silver - Initial Colours
Silver
Initial Colours
As Silver is a character that has silver toned hair and silver metal hands, I thought her completion should be quite pale to enhance that about her.
Minor Project: The Beast - Initial Colours
Initial Beast Colours
Favorites so far are: G1, O1/O2, R1
Green (1 & 2)
Purple (1 & 2)
Orange (1 & 2)

Minor Project: The Beast - Alterations and To Do List
Beast Alterations
After continuing with the script and rough animatic I thought I'd post the updated Beast. He's done now I think. Excluding body scarring/tattoos.
To Do List:
Expression Sheets: All
Colour: All
Update Script
Finalize Animatic
@Phil Minor Project: The Beast - Body Change!
The Beast
Body Change
The last beast design I was trying to make a turd sparkle, so this morning I spent time working on the beast's form to give him a completely different silhouette. I believe he is now found (excluding tattoos/marks, etc.) so I think I will progress with this design. Am I thinking right?

Minor Project: Silver - Action Pose
Silver
Action Pose
Late this evening I have finished off the pose for Silver, demonstrating her hands aren't just large boxing gloves and that they show some form of power. I will also show a close up of the hands indicating how they are attached. Personally, I think that her left hand should be angled differently. However after many attempts I went with what still indicates that she is punching.

Minor Project: Silver - Hat Designs and Hands Update
Silver
Hat Designs and Hands Update
This evening I was able to further design Silver. As she is a character from a fairytale universe, originating from the 1800's from modern folklore; the theory of her wearing a modern snapchat did not seem right at all. So I have tried to design one if it were made around that time. Leather, stitching and buckles.
I also improved the 'believability' of her hands, so I decreased their size while moving them lower towards the wrist. I also believe her outfit is working.

Minor Project: Silver - Clothing Development 02
Silver
Clothing Development
I took (1. A), (2. B), (3. B) & (4. A) and put them aside her larger hands.
Taking Favorites From Last Post
I took my initial favorites from the last set of designs and changed them slightly further.

Minor Project: Silver - Initial Clothing 01
Silver
Initial Clothing Ideas
Initial ideas of old-fashioned clothing made new. I still need to design the head items.
I really like (A), (B), (G) and (H). (G) seems to be my overall favorite as its an old fashioned night-gown that shes made into a 'onesie' with a leather jacket.
Minor Project: The Bear Prince - Armour/Clothing
The Bear Prince
Armour/Clothing
Initial armour/clothing designs. (1) has a sword, (2) has an axe and (3) a pike. I will design the layout of his weapons on his back along with his ranged weapon; which is a huge bear trap. The trap will be connected to a chain. I think (2, A) works very well but unsure of the (B) pants. Could combine with design (1). But I prefer the patterns on his fur in design (3).

@Phil Minor Project: The Beast - Initial Changes
The Beast - Initial Changes
I really wanted to get the beast in my head before tomorrow so I quickly tried to make the Beast more villainous. I need to also try with the hooves as well but thought I'd show a before and after.
I'll also attempt to push him further tomorrow.

@Phil Minor Project: The Beast - Satyr Body Conflict
The Beast
Body Conflict
I changed the face of the character to be less 'smiley', while also attempting to change the lower half of his body. I initially went for a slender Satyr which did not look right whatsoever, so I bulked them out in proportion to his upper body. Yet I think I still prefer the original; but (B) seems to work.
